ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER IN WWE

Arnold Schwarzenegger to induct Bruno Sammartino into Hall of Fame?

There has been a lot of news on several pro wrestling sites that Triple H is currently holding talks with movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger to induct Bruno Sammartino into the Hall of Fame.
It was reported in WrestlingInc.com that
“F4Wonline.com reports that Triple H was working on getting the deal done for Arnold Schwarzenegger to induct Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame while at the Arnold Classic this weekend.”
Sammartino was inducted into the International Sports HOF this weekend and Triple H went on to even post on Twitter about this.

One main reason why Triple H wants Schwarzenegger to induct Sammartino is to increase the main stream appeal of the induction. Schwarzenegger is a huge star, and his presence will surely provide a huge boost for WWE’s media coverage and will be one of the main reasons why Vince will approve of this move.
Speaking of whether Arnold is the most deserving inductor for Sammartino, there are several other stars who could induct him into the HOF. McMahon himself is a huge star who most probably should be inducting Sammartino. Most wrestling fans today would love some great wrestling star to do the honors, but when it comes to mainstream attention, everyone including Triple H, knows the value the Terminator possess.
Sammartino, however, has given WWE the liberty to make the decision. He has dealt with this quite professionally. He had his own suggestions or, as I would prefer to call it, his own preferred list. He told Ring Rust Radio,
“If it were me, there would be a number of names I’d want; that I think would be fitting I should say. It could be [Larry] Zbyszko as you mentioned, could be a Koloff because he’s the one I lost the title to the first time, could be Bill Watts because I certainly have a history with him in this business as well, it could be a good friend of mine that I like very much—we come from the same neck of the woods—and that would be Dominic DeNucci. You know, but if they choose someone that they feel is more appropriate because of their 126 markets around the world and they think they might be more important, then I wouldn’t argue with them. I’d be fine with that too. As of right now, it has not been determined on who it’s going to be.”
Triple H and Arnold share a great moment in the history of WWE, as Arnold knocked the sense out of the Game in an SmackDown event.
Hopefully, we get to see a similar scene again this time as it is quite clear that Triple H is doing all he can to persuade Arnold to induct Sammartino into the HOF.
